Golf professional
Our Golf Professional, Tony Pennock is a Class A (T) Advanced. Tony is a previous European Tour player and Suffolk
Pros Stokeplay and Matchplay champion has a wealth of experience. Competing at the very highest level has meant
contact with some of the golfing greats including Nick Faldo and Gary Player. His claim to fame, though, would be
beating Ian Woosnam in the Midland Matchplay Championship!
His teaching skills have been linked with Julie Hall (British Ladies’ Amateur Champion and most capped Curtis Cup Player)
and he has also paved the way for the development of junior golf in Suffolk and Oxfordshire.
With such a qualified professional on site, you can be sure of expert, helpful and friendly guidance for all your
golfing needs. Whether it is coaching, advice on running a corporate day, or assistance on buying equipment, repairs
or service – he will be delighted to help.

all catered for and clubs can be custom fit to your requirements.
We offer bespoke custom fitting for clubs by our qualified professionals and are Titleist, Ping, Callaway and
TaylorMade approved fitters.

Professional golf lessons
At Rye Hill, we pride ourselves on expert tuition, be it for fellow professionals, low handicap county players,
mid handicap club members, juniors and beginners. Whatever the standard or aspiration, we believe everybody has
the potential to improve.
During the season there may be times when you encounter difficulty in different areas of your golf game. It
could be driving, putting, long irons, bunker play or pitching. Our resident PGA professional Tony Pennock can
assure that a rapid improvement can be made with simple to understand methods, tailor made for the individual or
groups
Coaching is always available with individual lessons from £25.00.
All aspects of the game are covered using the practice areas and greens. Lessons can be tailor made for individuals
or groups and can be incorporated into company days if required.
